Guerlain is one of the houses of the better known French perfume. The company itself is 175 years, with over 300 fragrances in its label. Guerlain was created by Pierre-François-Pascal Guerlain way back in 1828 when it opened its first store in the Rue de Rivoli in Paris. Jean-Paul Guerlain has taken the reins of his grandfather in 1956 and was the nose behind popular fragrances. He retired just two years ago and their creations have been some of the more remarkable perfume fragrances. Their perfumes are Vetiver (1959), Song of the Taste (1962), Habit Rouge (1965), L'Eau de Guerlain (1974), Seth (1975), First (1976), silences (1978), Nahéma (1976), Jardins de Bagatelle (1983), Derby (1985), Samsara (1989), Heritage (1992), Petite Guerlain (1994) Un Air de Samsara, Champs Elysees (1996), Coriolanus (1998), Mahora (2000).
As mentioned above, the creation Jean-Paul Campos Campos was totally different from that of his grandfather. After Jean-Paul Champs Elysees Guerlain began with the Aqua Allegoria line using fresh flowers in and herbs.
